El Camino Frances
Share
In the summer of 2026, I completed El Camino Frances! This amazing journey which started in Saint Jean Pid de Port, France, had me hiking for 34 days and 500 miles to Santiago, Spain, following the steps of Jesus' apostle, Saint James (Santiago). Though this was city-walking for the most part, my body and bad knee adjusted to the hard pavement and loved the history and cultural immersion of the Camino. Referred to as Pilgrims, I stayed every night in Hostels called Albergues and met people from all around the world in this epic journey. So much so that I had to continue on to the "end of the world" trail known as Finisterre for another 4 days and 90 miles reaching the Atlantic Ocean.
